We’ve been having a great time skiing (thus no updates here!). Froze at Breckenridge on Monday, had awesome day at Vail on Tuesday. Yesterday went shopping, now are about to head back to Vail.

It took me almost 45 minutes to get to work today - a drive that usually takes 15. I have been driving this route for over a year now, and have never had anything nearly as bad as today. I even left later (around 9) hoping to miss the worst of it, which I likely did, but it was still bad. Wonder what it will be like going home tonight.
Get all the latest Hollywood gossip! Yay.

I leave in 2 and a half days for Colorado. Yay! I am excited to go skiing. Today I found out that Peggy is leaving for Maui in 3 days - I hate her.
Check out the mountain (maybe if you watch really close next week you will see me skiing here!):

guess I finally have one:

This is pretty cool: Scientists are currently developing a space elevator, to possibly be used with the next 15 years. It is basically a super strong cable that is held up in space. I wondered how this would work, another article explains: “The competing forces of gravity at the lower end and outward centripetal acceleration at the farther end keep the cable under tension. This cable, once in position, can be scaled from Earth by mechanical means, right into Earth orbit.” Sweet. Near the end of the article they discuss the possibility of space tourism and “a small city up there”. I am putting my bets on Starbucks being this first thing there. Who doesn’t need a good cup a java, even in space?

Today Sarah writes about making mix CDs. Sigh. I miss making mix CDs. I was cranking them out like crazy for awhile. Then got sick of it. Recently tried to make a couple, but my burner won’t burn a decent CD for anything! And I am too lazy/busy to figure out why, or bother Kris to fix it for me. Still, I miss making the CDs. I once made a “Sappy Love Songs” CD - that was great. Mostly thought I just throw random songs together. For example I have one mix containing Aerosmith, Better Than Ezra, Marty Robbins, and a song from the musical Scarlet Pimpernel. How is that for diversity? (or insanity?)
